Bringing vibrant performances, art installations, and workshops to Pasar Seni MRT station. From February to June every fortnight, Pasar Seni MRT station transforms into a vibrant hub of creativity, showcasing captivating performances, thought-provoking art installations, and interactive workshops.
NAUNGAN, meaning "shelter," unites Malaysia's top classical and traditional musicians. Formed in 2022, they breathe new life into folk and contemporary songs with a "World Ethnic Fusion" twist. Their mission: promote unity through music, both in original compositions and fresh arrangements.
Thrive Talent Tank (3T), founded in 2015 by Dr. Sivabalan S. Shanmuga Sundram, promotes Malaysian freelance artists locally and internationally. Their 3T Karnatic Konnexions show features traditional Indian music and instruments like the veena, mridangam, morsing, and ghatam claypot, along with an engaging percussion exchange.
Gangsapura, founded in October 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, promotes Malaysian culture through traditional Gamelan arts. Led by Teuku Umar Ilany and Nur Diyana Nadirah, the group aims to inspire with their acclaimed Gamelan performances, honored with the Best of 2019 performance award by Kakiseni. They are dedicated to preserving and innovating in this traditional music form.
